    It rained steadily through the night and up to mid day and by that time the Garden Weather Station had recorded 11.7mm of rainfall. Despite the constant heavy cloud the temperature managed to get to 70f for a very brief time, and then dropped to the middle 60f's. Right now the temperature is 56f, the pressure reading is 982hpa, and it hasn't rained since mid day.:coffee::snorky:

      The grey sky and showers continue but surprisingly it's humid, even with lower temperatures. A day of sunshine would be most welcome. 14C/57F

          Rain again in the night and during the day but that only gave a total of 6.6mm of rain. Cloud has been predominate in the skies with the odd patch of blue, a glimpse of the Sun, and average wind speeds of 4mph and gusts up to 10mph. The top temperature has been 59f and right now it's 53f with a pressure reading of 980hpa. The skies have cleared enough, partially, of cloud to give me the optimism to power up the Observatory to grab a few minutes of Star Gazing.:coffee::snorky:

                  This week we have had sunny and cloudy days and mainly rainy nights (dry last night). I vote for that formula to continue. :blue thumb: The promised daytime rain and winds up to 75mph didn't materialise.

                    My trip to Aviemore today (30 miles south) was blighted by heavy rain showers, in turn making driving conditions difficult. The temperature also dropped quite a bit to 8C/46F.

                    Here at home later it was much brighter with a hint or two of sunshine. 13C/55F
