For those thinking a military intervention is the answer to NK . The military analysis below makes interesting viewing . Putin says that the North Koreans would rather eat grass than give up their nukes . So we do need to explore other options.

I know China doesn't want to bring NK to it's knees by cutting off the oil supply, but i've said before, if they just cut off the rocket fuel supply, i.e. liquid oxygen/hydrogen, then he can have all the nukes he wants, just won't be able to lob them at anyone

The situation has got extremely serious IMO.....I think scary isn't to strong. All it takes is one loony to press a button and the world could change..

On a brighter note me beans have done well this year........

I think China will be putting more pressure on Kim Jong Un now. They really do not like him rattling the Korean peninsula cage. The import supply screw may be tightened even more.

I received an email about a special offer of a reduction of 40% in the price of a cruise that's going from Hong Kong to Shanghai, Seoul and Tokyo. For the life of me, I can't think of any reason why they have reduced the price  :heehee:

Is it OK if I sublet it to some people who like fireworks and rockets?

But how do you kick the arse of a completely incomphensively stupid lunatic ?

Sanctions won't move him he will see it as just when he replies by sending misiles over wherever. In a way he's responding to sanctions in the only way he can.

We have to remember the loon is doing exactly what other nations have done by choosing to arm his country. Difference being of course he's ten tenths crackers where the likes of Trump is nine.....

Whoever presses the button first could alter the course of mankind forever. It's no exaggeration that if Hydrogen bombs get thrown around it could change the world as we know it. We as humans are told that by burning fossil fuels we are eroding the ozone layer. One or two bombs could alter that by 1000 times !!

                          Scary eh ?

It is, but we are not the ones letting the bloomin' things off - Kim Wrong-Un in the one doing that. OK, so far he has done it underground, but even that must have a massive impact on the environment and will leak out at some point?

There surely must be a way to get someone close enough to take the mad wee bam-pot out, without launching all out war?

I once read something along the lines of, in war you never kill the generals, I think it meant you never go out to kill the leaders, because that in turn puts your leaders in the frame for reprisals.
So it's mostly the little bloke that gets it when it comes to war.

If someone was to"take out" the chubby bloke, I wonder who would replace him?

Somehow I dont think it would be the Pope.;)
