        A bit of a shock this morning.....our first frost, although the sun burnt it off very quickly. Wall to wall blue skies and a day of sunshine, something that hasn't been seen for a long while and very welcome. :SUNsmile: 20C/68F

          Same again, started off looking reasonable, a bit of sun.
          By mid morning it was grey all round with drizzle in the air and windy.
          By mid afternoon it was dull damp and cold, 14.5C and windy.
          It's brightened up a bit now, we might even see the sun go down, who knows it could be another cold clear night.:mad:

          If I hear another weather forecaster telling me it is going to be better tomorrow I think I'll scream.
          Mostly they dont even know what it is like now, "nowcasting" is pushing things a bit too far for this bunch of overpaid "Persons"

          Manyana or what?:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

            After yesterday being sunny and warm we're back to the gloom today. Left home after lunch with the sun shining, 20C/68F and fifteen miles up the road it was pouring, the temperature having dropped to 14C/57F. The rain beat us home and it's not stopped since we've been in. :doh:

                The rain has continued for most of the day having followed on from yesterday, 11C/52F. A little sunshine appeared before sunset and with the temperature rising a couple of degrees mist is now settling on the surrounding fields.

                  2.5 Deg C at my outskirts of village plot this morning :yikes: with widespread frost in the fields around edge of village, 4.8 deg C in my back garden.

                  What happened to the Indian Summer that was forecast?

                  A very chilly morning in lots of places:

                    At last a proper sunny day, first one I can remember since the bank holiday.
                    18C but felt a bit warmer due to the sun.

                      @Scrungee as long as I can remember they have been forecasting Indian Summers.
                      It's just something they do:scratch::lunapic 130165696578242 5:

                            A frost early this morning apparently (I'm not an early bird) but the temperature had risen to 5C/41F around 8am. For most of the day it's been grey and calm although rain threatened at times, 12C/54F. Late afternoon saw the skies clearing and a frost is forecast again overnight, supposedly down to 3C/37F.

                              It was very cold yestreday morning, getting down to 4c and nearly a frost on! However by about 2pm it had got to a lovely warm 18C! enjoyed that! :)

                              Sort of warmish this morning (13 degrees!) and due for 17 later but with no sun sadly! boo.
