    Good luck today Barley :doggieshmooze: Hope your dental goes well for you.

    Don't envy you the drive at rush hour @Logan
    Will you spend the day in Birmingham to save you having to do a return journey?

      I've been to Redditch twice. Both were to do training courses at Halfords head office. I was a young man then. That seems ages ago.

      Its annoying when professionals you rely on move premises. We had a dog groomer in the village. It was ideal. If we had the inclination we could even walk through the park en route. A year or so back she moved to a purpose built premises on a farm at the end of a long very bumpy track.

      I have since sourced more convenient facilities. Admittedly they are more expensive but so far we have been very happy with their work.

      I would have liked the lady in the village to still do the odd evening at home. That is after all where her most loyal customers are.

          @Logan It certainly is. Its the 5 degrees of separation rule. I left school in 1990 and was made redundant in 1993. From my recollection, Redditch town Centre was a no drive zone.

          I hope your dog is ok.

          @Jack Sparrow, @"M"
          Got Barley back at 4pm it went ok. He's got antibiotics and pain killer to start tomorrow. He's had a injection of both for today. He's had some food and now asleep. Thanks.

            Delighted to read that it all went well for Barley :doggieshmooze:

            Good luck with the tablets :thumbsup: Does he take them easily, or, do you have to go to any special effort to get tablets into him?

            With Ozzy, I have to grind up one set of tablets and mix it with a liquid he is on before putting that on top of his food. But, for his antibiotics, I had to wrap them in a slice of ham! :rolleyes: :heehee:

              Our cavalier Diesel is getting on a bit and has issues with his back. Usually he is ok but every now and then he tweaks it. We give him cod liver oil and glyco (something) in the morning. If its mixed in with his food he will leave it but he will happily take it out of your hand.

              For proper medicines we have to go down the slice of bread route. Funnily enough we have the same trouble with our 12 year old granddaughter. She doesn't have the confidence to swallow tablets whole. Children and animals eh. Who'd have them.

                @"M" & @Jack Sparrow thanks. Used to have trouble Barley taking tablets, but now he eats his food so fast, that he doesn't notice. Same with Berry.:doggieshmooze:

                  I didn't like to say but I'm pretty sure that's not my dog.
