Good morning @Verdun my good friend its very kind of you to say so,I have intention of digging up this lawn as every time I look at it it gets under my feathers so to speak, but Mrs Woo has said that at my time of life I should learn to relax:lunapic 130165696578242 5:I can feel another project coming on and as I replied to Mrs Woo(under my owl like breath)my idea of relaxing is working(LOL);):blue thumb:

          From the garden yesterday (17/11/17)

Ipomoea threw out a flower. Smaller than earlier in the year, but it was still a lovely surprise. Is now the time to trim it @pete and bring it indoors? :dunno:

          DSCN1285 (1024x768).jpg

Cobaea is still going strong ...

          DSCN1295 (768x1024).jpg

... and even seems to be laughing at the glorious sunshine :heehee:

          DSCN1293 (1024x768).jpg

... now producing seed pods; well, only the one so far, but better than nowt ;) (thank you @longk and @shiney for showing me what to look for :blue thumb: )

          DSCN1291 (768x1024).jpg

even the leaves look colourful with the sun on them

          DSCN1304 (1024x768).jpg

          with this one positively glowing!

The autumn wallflowers are very pretty

Finally, my hydrangea in a pot (Endless Summer) with amazing Autumn colours

I can call it what I want now - it ain't gonna answer back!
Thanks for the offer of seed but I still have a few and I'm also going to try Cobaea pringlei which is supposedly hardy.

I've been spotting lots of those little mushrooms in the damp grass of our park too, @Zigs. They are so pretty and delicate, they always remind me of this classic Finnish glass design from the 1940s - though strictly speaking that is a different kind of mushroom, a chanterelle

More details about the vase here, it was designed by Tapio Wirkkala. Even more beautiful from above: Chanterelle | Wirkkala, Tapio | V&A Search the Collections

                                Agree

I've have Hardy geranium "Bill Wallis" its still flowering been blooming since spring it copes with mowing and still pops up thru the grass bank and other plants- I do have a white version too, but not as many as the purple - it does self-seed freely but it's very delicate and slender so it doesn't swamp its neighbours peeking out so prettily tru them :imphrt: HARDY GERANIUM_BILL WALLIS.jpg
