                All these lovely flowers in November and I noticed yesterday my two bottlebrushes are growing lovely stems for flowering again, never had this before :dunno: can this happen?

                          Yes of course it can, although any flower buds at this time of the year could be susceptible to hard frost.
                          Seen some in flower now, but its not ideal, spring is better.

                            Hi Pete, mine usually flower may/june and i'm hoping this flowering again doesn't mess them up next year, as they're well developed and always bloom lovely together.:)

                              There is a notion that if something flowers now it wont flower in spring again when it should do. However, they usually do.
                              It has been an unusually floriferous year.....delphiniums have flowered 4 times here, lupins reflowered in September, salvias still in flower and most everything seems disinclined to stop flowering :)

                                Verdun I still have flowers now re-shooting when they've usually died off and been cut back fresh for next year, if it affects my bottle brushes it would get me down :cry3:...first the squirrels trying to destroy them, so they was moved and now the weather.:)
