    Morning early people :)

No frost this morning, windy though, at least that's generating a bit of power :)

Down to 11.6 volts this morning :hate-shocked:

Have a good day everyone :spinning:

      Aloha everyone,

Frosty and a light dusting of snow but no wind here. Maybe @Zigs it was the beans you had last night :snorky:. The other day our solar panels broke all records and produced absolutely nothing . Something to do with 7" of snow on them :dunno: :hate-shocked:

I have no need to go out today but if it warms up I'll visit some more of my 'girls' to wish them a good holiday season. upload_2017-12-15_7-45-36.jpeg

I sorted out Barry's forms. I completed the first two and got him to sign them. Then came the third one :rolleyespink:. It said on the front that before filling in each section, the notes at the back should be read carefully. :blue thumb: I turned to the back and there were 96 notes!!!

So I phoned the head of the department at the Council (used to be one of my customers) and said that it was ridiculously complicated. He agreed but said that they had to comply with the law. He asked me a few questions about Barry's circumstances and then said that we only need to fill in the first ten pages - easily done. He agreed that for people in Barry's circumstances the whole questionnaire was totally unnecessary but that unless they interviewed every applicant before issuing the forms, or searched for their records (they have thousands), they were unable to simplify it. I understood his dilemma but didn't tell him that I could devise a system to make it a lot easier - I wouldn't get any thanks for changing the bureaucracy. :noidea:

Keep well and have a great day

      Aloha!

              Good day everyone
I've been sitting reading the news while listening to the news and sipping my cuppa. It's very cold out there and I only stepped outside long enough to get the rubbish and recycle to the kerb. I think I'm going to spend the rest of the morning hanging out in the kitchen and playing with my mixer. Still have lots of Christmas cookie doughs to prepare and have in readiness for baking this weekend. Tasting the dough before baking is also necessary for quality assurance :)

Have a warm day and please play safe!

Happy Friday to all. Easy day for me, riding around my pretty county with the fresh fallen snow, the roads are good, just a nice chill. stopping at a few offices to put reports in files, of which are all done and in my brief case. Had a nice Christmas office party on Thursday, food was great. I made Apple butternut squash soup. Hope those not feeling well are on the mend. Have a great day.

                    Aloha everyone,

A cold and sunny morning so may get out there later to do a bit of tidying. Michael came in yesterday and spent all day clearing leaves and made a good job of it. That included getting all the freezing, soggy leaves out of the hundreds of pots in the nursery areas. Sarafi supervised.

Keep well and have a great day

                    Aloha!

Happy Saturday to you all. Fresh fallen snow from yesterday afternoon still fluffy this morning. think I should get my camera and do a walk about. caught this shot from my cell this morning of a wee bird eating the hosta seeds. these hostas are a shorter variety. the hostas in the front are huge with tall heavy seed stocks that I just cut down when in seed to keep the place tidy, ---thinking next year of tying them together and hanging them somewhere, maybe the birds would want those. Anyway, hope to get out to shop etc. roads hopefully are good. Pix taken with cell from inside my house, then uploaded to my facebook, then downloaded to my computer. 25352269_10215536117699900_6671100836120829440_o.jpg

                            Aloha everyone,

I'm not sure what I shall do today apart from drilling some holes in a load of walnuts for Mrs Shiney. I haven't asked her, yet, why I should be doing that  - apart from the info that she says she will need to put toothpicks in the holes. I guess it may be for some flower arrangements. :noidea:
