They are good value @Gail_68 mine are usually £1 I think it is from Mr T’s shop but will. Heck properly on the price as Mr Kandy got the last ones for me:snorky:

As I have never Gekos as pets I didn’t realise they have to have their claw cut although I expect in their natural habitat the rough ground would do the same thing.

We used to take our dog to the vets when she got elderly and couldn’t wear them down quick enough like she used to when she walked on pavements. The vets always trimmed them too short because they were black in colour and there was blood everywhere because they went too low and cut the vein.It used to distress us and the dog:cry3:

Been and had a second Bunion op,after having the left one done in March.I wasn’t going to say anything to the Consultant as the bunion wasn’t as large but my toe used to seize up and was painful to walk so after he checked the toe and having X-rays done advised that it needed doing. When the toe was opened up it was in a worse state than he thought and the bone joint had turned to mush so that had to be got rid of so now have a shortened big toe:biggrin:

This was nearly five weeks ago so have been stuck at home recovering all these weeks but I am now hopefully nearing the end and will soon be able to step into my shower and have a damn good wash:snorky:

@Kandy I got those off Amazon as my hubby usually pays more for one from wilko's, they was on offer.
Yes they need their nails cutting but it's took 8yrs for them to just start curling under and that isn't bad but he suggested a rough stone and my hubby got those as a path way and she goes on them.

My staffy when he was alive had dark nails like your dog and the vets said they wouldn't clip them because of not seeing the nerves and causing more problems such as bleeding and infection, his front nails growed slight but is back ones never did and she said get a good file and file them for him and bless him mate he'd lie on his back, head rested on my thighs and I used to hold his feet in the air and file away twice a year :lunapic 130165696578242 5:he'd let me do anything with him, my hubby was abused for the walks

Oh I am sorry to hear you suffer from Bunions and they can be quite painful and disfigure your toes and feet, hopefully you'll be able to walk ok plus the healing process isn't to bad also.

[IMG] to you and all the best for 2018..love Gail [IMG]:)

          2 Pure black
3 Pure black with a touch of white by the neck

Should look good with the purple sand. Is it so she can change colour and how many times does shed her skin?:love30:

Well I was chatting with the chap at Codsall about it and he said can't you cut them yourself...well we tried but she'll only let me handle her...yesterday hubby tried to hold her and no way but with me she came on my chest and lay by my neck :snorky:...I used to let her loose in the bedroom but she was climbing the wall paper so I soon stopped that :dunno:
It looks lovely with the purple and yellow mixed, i'll be having that colour in future...the basking lamp helps keep the heat in her tank at 82F and they lie by it or under it, so when she shreds her skin again the yellow alters colour more besides more spots developing but when she shreds I have to check her eyes and mouth for any skin still left on and her nails and if there is any she goes in a lukewarm bath and it's removed with tweezers because it causes infections otherwise.

She shreds from once a month / 2mths since she's got older and as soon as she goes pure white I spray lukewarm water in side the tanks on everything besides her, then she rubs her body on the things and removes it with her mouth and also eats it as it's full of calcium.

Sorry my reply is long...just explaining

That's ok, i don't know much about them. I didn't think that there was so much you had to do to look after her.
                :)

That's alright with the video, have to watch it later anyway.:)

You have to keep on top with them and if she mess's that as to be removed as soon as I wake besides fresh water daily..it's all down to infection plus if they get frightened by anything they drop their tail and lose it and they grow back horrible.

The humidity in the tank is doing my head in, it's going over into the blue because of the temp in the tank and the home with the heat and that can cause them breathing problems :wallbanging:

Logan she was 6mths old when I brought her as a male :dunno:...she was wild it took me several days to get her to let me handle her and since then she won't let no one else as she struggles with them, then she started digging and I was advised to ID her and she wasn't a male but a female.

The work that you did with her was worth while.

It must be difficult to know what gender they are.:grphg:
