Erm ... ... just coz I'm driving, it don't make me chauffeur and just coz I'm eating, it don't make me a dishwasher! I'm not the hired help you know

As for Mr @shiney needing a glass of summat after a visit from moi ... well, he's survived a few of those over the past few years and he's still standing (His asparagus may not be if I leave it too long between visits ... but that is another story )

I had what I call a Mr Bean day yesterday I should have guessed because it began from the moment I woke up!
Awoke to #2 son's alarm going off and duly fell out of bed and made my way to the bathroom (like you do!). Didn't bother turning the light on, I'm quite familiar with where the W.C. is. Next thing I know, in walks #2 son so I stood up and muttered: "Don't mind me!" and quickly left. Thankfully, he also didn't turn the light on!
Now wide awake, I decided to take Ozzy out so brushed my teeth, threw on some clothes and out we went. It was a short but pleasant walk just as the dawn was breaking and I did chuckle to myself at how mortified #2 son was in the bathroom In the meantime, #1 son had woken up - he'd clearly been in the garden for a smoke because I could smell it the moment I came in the back gate. Went to open the back door but the little perisher had accidently locked me out when he'd gone back inside and I could hear him in the shower room No point going to the front door because no one would answer a knock on the front door at that time of the morning. Nothing else for it, I had to park myself on the patio until #1 son had finished his shower
Naturally, I'm now behind schedule but he did let me in ... eventually! So, both lads have left for work and I get a wiggle on to get showered blah, blah, blah. Quickly get dressed, grab my keys and off to the car park I go. Thought something felt a little odd but got into the car and off I went. Needed to stop off at a shop for a lemon for my hot drinks, got out of the car and realised why something felt a little odd ... my underwear was falling down Can't spend a working day with slack knickers! Back in the car and straight to M&S. By the time I got there, I was walking like some kind of geriatric geisha girl - the expression "Baby Steps" took on a whole new meaning All I need is a pair of knickers. How difficult can that be?
Who knew there were so many different TYPES!!!????
Full? High Leg? Short? High waisted? Thong? Brazilian? Low rise? High rise? G string? Waist cincher? Thigh cincher? Waist and thigh cincher? French? Bikini? Midi?
Which do I choose? I just want a pair of bliddy knickers!!
Grab a multi-pack, pay and get back into the car.
Where the heck am I going to change them before I get to work? I eventually found somewhere and made it to work, just in time.
Sat down at my desk, got my pen out, answered the phone (left hand) and with pen in right hand also tried to get my reading glasses out and on when OUCHIE! managed to stab myself in the neck with the nib of the pen! Didn't realise I spent the rest of the day with a blue spot on my neck and none of my colleagues thought to mention it

Today is my day off and I plan to stay away from sharp objects, my sons and go commando
