Cold, wet, cloudy, windy, muddy, and generally all round unpleasant outside.

Nice and cosy indoors :) (and we still haven't put our heating on, just burning free firewood)

The skies are starting to clear after a day of around 50% blue patches and 50% mixed white and grey cloud and a "high" of 42f. The temperature has dropped to 34f. it's still dry and the pressure reading is 1003hpa.:coffee::snorky:

Dry, strong winds and about 2°C. Strong winds set to last through the day.

Just in from having hell of a job digging up some leeks for supper. Could have done with a pneumatic jackhammer:rolleyespink:. Good tho from the horse's field point of view, as @Scrungee says the mud has now frozen which makes "ploughing" about in it a lot easier.

-5C/23F at 9am. Frosty but calm all day and good to see the sunshine again, -1C/30F.

The temperature is currently at -4C/25F so it looks as if it could be colder than last night. Nice and cosy indoors though. :)
