Only five at the moment @shiney, perhaps the rest are fussy about what they eat. :snorky:

We only had a short while to wait before five of them came back so I was able to get some photos before they eventually flew off to find some more yew berries to eat.Sorry about the quality of photos but the trees were at least 100 yards away:snorky:

There are some around in Dorset but could be anywhere in a square mile of forest near Blandford but I can't get out there till next week and by then they may have gone. I still haven't seen one!:frown:

These three Greenshank were too far away for a decent shot as the high tide forced them to the back of the pool. One is colour ringed.

This is my foot before I added more padding to keep the underneath dressings nice and dry:snorky: and only another two weeks to go then freedom:yay:

@Gail_68 it was only a walk of a few foot as Mr Kandy parked the car right next to the bus shelter so I was able to get out and walked to the back to sit on the bench seat and then I leaned against the side walll to get the photos.I am allowed to walk round the house to keep mobile but can’t go out for long hikes or shopping trips:snorky:

Thanks for the Rose it is beautiful and I expect you all travel by boat if you live on the waterfront:love30:

After being stuck indoors all my working life I hate being trapped indoors, probably why I ended up deficient in Vitamin D3 as I covered up being blonde and fair skinned or else used the high factor sunscreen but now I try to get the sun onto my skin in the good weather although I expect my levels have dropped again through being stuck indoors and the weather we have been having of late:sad:

Hi @Kandy, it may have only just been a short walk but at least you moved mate, nothing worse than having to keep sitting or lying but at least getting up abit around the home it's helping your leg movements mate:thumbsup:

Sorry mate [IMG] travel boat living for me thank you...just wouldn't cope come winter I would be bad:sick0026: but as you can see when my dog was a live he loved it :)

                        SDC14898.JPG

You need to move about slowly when you've recovered and get as much light as you can, to get your Vitamin D back to a good level.:)

Your as bad as me @Gail_68 I take photos of everything when out walking so would have taken the same views:love30:

Love your dog looks like he/she is watching something intently

My surgery is monitoring my Vitamin D levels although last time it was done the results came back as a bone profile so I told the nurse to contact me if it had gone down.I never heard back so can only assume everything was ok,well it was three months ago:snorky:

The hospital where I had my foot done give all their patients a list of what they expect them to be doing within a few days-of the op and what they expect you to be doing over the coming weeks:biggrin:

Hi @Kandy i'm not the photo taker mate it's my other half it's super glued to his side :snorky: and walking Bruno when he was alive he used to take some nice shots plus video's and pass them on to me but since the dogs gone, we have no recent ones :frown:

I'd still get back on the phone and check with your Doctor's..just don't fully rely on them...well best of luck when your able to walk and things go best they can :blue thumb: :)
