It gets moved into the shed when it turn cold.

In the greenhouse Salvia coerulea is blooming..............

It is a little early. It will look better in a few weeks time when the days are longer.

 

That’s the name @shiney I had forgotten what the other part of the name was.Thanks Ours are in the front garden so they get the morning sun and as I said I chuck washing up water on them and give them chicken pellets once a year

@HsuH yes you definetley must have a different climate and looking at those photos would prove it.Love those spindle berry seed cases as they open

@martin-f as my Pyracanthas are against a fence tied in by Mr Kandy with wires the growth when in leaf tends to put the roots in shade so all through the summer I collect up my washing up water (don’t have a dishwasher) in a horse bucket and I pour that over the base of the plant so that water goes down into the roots and I think this is what helps the plant to make good sized berries and they don’t shrivel up in the autumn.I give them a couple of handfuls of chicken pellets each spring and often water them with water from out of our water butt.

I had a pyracantha in a planter that never took. I like the shape of the one here. It looks a lot more dramatic than a simple round bush.

I was recently bought a pot of “extra special” snowdrops. These are flore pleno which I have no doubt are going to be very pretty. The only problem is I have no idea where I’m going to put them. Last year I dug up so many snowdrop bulbs that even after spreading them in strategic spots around the garden I still had plenty left over. It’s true that there are plenty of places in my back garden but none of these are yet ready for planting in. At the moment the bulbs are happily shooting away inside their pot in my kitchen. I am keen to get them out and acclimatised before they start to bud. I think I’m going to have to get a new pot in the garden as all the others are currently accounted for.

I’m really looking forward to seeing all my spring bulbs in flower. It will be a new experience for me.

 

@Jack Sparrow why don’t you leave them to flower on your kitchen windowsill and then plant them out in the green when they have finished flowering? You will then have the beauty of them earlier no doubt than the outdoor ones.As long as you keep them watered to stop the flower buds from drying out then they should do ok.

@HsuH Our camellia plants had flower buds since September and it usually flowers about arpril/may but how the weathers been it could be earlier

 

This is indoors but I'll take what I can get at this time of the year - Kalanchoe x houghtonii............

First flower I've noticed in the garden this year no idea what it is.

 

@martin-f The flower looks similar to a clematis

 

winter jasmine but they have no scent.
