Half price entry to Monkey World (ape rescue centre) for locals this month but as it was so cold all the residents were indoors and who could blame them!

Rescue centres do a good job for animals rescued but other wise regarding zoo's..i don't like it when you see one or two lions caged in a glass surround lying there bored out of their brains plus not the right habitat they're usually in plus giraffes being fed leafs...it's not natural.

We all live till we die, so why not for animals:what: in the habitat they know best:)

Well, I guess, Gail, it's not a fair world. Mankind is out there taking tusks, horns for money and busy taking certain animal to the brink of extinction.........I guess we don't know know when we've got a good thing around us.:dunno::wallbanging::snorky:

@ARMANDII I know what your saying mate and it is a cruel world when animals have to take the cruelty for survival but when I see them in zoo's it's also cruel unless it's just how I look at it :)

Not often you see freight trains in the daytime nowadays so this was a surprise as I was watching the waders in Poole harbour.

Myth buster, yes you can work on raised beds over 1.2m wide without treading on them!

                  Seen on Friday:

Thought I'd seen it all till last week when a farmer pulled up in a layby and another one pulled up behind him and proceeded to put four cows in the back of his car :hate-shocked:
