Don't worry, we have our postie well trained. :blue thumb: We never even have to take letters to the post box as all we do is put them in the outside of our letterbox and postie takes them for us. :)

Spent the morning moving rubble/carpets etc to the tip, this afternoon i managed to get the decking cleaned down and the adjoining border sorted out,

Hopefully it will stay nice over the weekend and I can get the other borders sorted out and some flower seeds put in the greenhouse.

No, it just looked as if it was a bit dark when you took the last photos.

              I'm only a part-time gardener. 10 - 2 is all I'll do these days.

Sorry yes it was around 5 o'clock when I wrapped up late for this time of the year. through the summer months sometimes its been as late as 10.

Thank you it wasn't as bad as it looked, once the rubble was cleared (I installed a patio door just before Christmas) it was plain sailing, after 4 years of hard work my borders are in good shape they turn over very easy now, ive been top dressing them twice a year with new compost, there a pleasure to work on now :).

Nice to get back on here and see what you lovely peeps have been up to! :snorky:

I've been out trimming back rose bushes and clearing away the old/dead foliage etc. It has been so horrible and wet most days and I don't like walking on the grass because it's a mess and just ruins it. Been busy either working or going away with the better half!

Cannot wait for it to start getting warmer and dryer!!!

Pulled a few pots out on to the patio where my crocus and mini iris bulbs are starting to come through. Bought some nice bulbs/corms from wilkos-begoniafragrant angelique and dahlia caucus purple/white, seed potatoes and some gypsophylla. got the seed potatoes chitting and thinking about planting the gypsophylla on the allotment and use them for cut flowers (i might do a 'cut flower' bed this year up at the allotment??)

Getting excited for everything coming back to life!!

Hello I have decided to convert one of my raised bed to a pond as I do like the sound of running water,so I am in the process of removing all the soil from the raised bed and spreading it over the area which I am levelling off, this might help with the wet and cloggy soil, its wet and cold out there but hey someones got to do it:smile:

Thanks again, this was in 2014 I had spent nearly a year getting it to this state, it was like a small wood when I bought the house uprooting large trees was the main issue,

I enjoy my time in the garden now ive still got a long way to go to get it how I want it but I'm getting there slow but sure :).

Too wet, windy and cold to do anything except keep the Birdies fed today. Yesterday was lovely and we decided to go to Snowdonia. We picked up 4 good sized branches to add to my log pile ( and a bag of pine cones ). Hoping for better weather tomorrow and some time in the garden. The only good thing about all the recent rainfall is its contribution to filling up the newly installed bath pond :snorky:

Glad to see you back @Snorky85 :yay:. I wondered where you had been. How are your doggies ?
