Hood morning everyone yes its another Bonus of a day,doesn't time fly when you are having fun,anyway I digress,another busy @BeeHappy day,enjoy every minute and keep smiling my friends

Heavy snow

 

Aloha everyone,

@wiseowl I hope the snow doesn't inconvenience you too much. It's very frosty here but the sun is coming out to play. I hope that snow doesn't chase it away.

I have another busy day doing admin and also working on organising the charity bridge drive for next month (almost all sorted now), and the very long time it takes to sort out everything for Open Day at the end of May. We need to have most things organised well in advance but we still haven't had a reply from one lot of entertainers. All the others have replied either saying yes or no. We need to work out the schedule and let them know. Helpers and all equipment are now organised but we need more details before we can put the publicity into action. Getting people to bake cakes is the next big push as we're expecting about 500 people again. Of course, that leaves us with the 'little' thing of getting the garden ready.

I hope the promised snow keeps away this evening as I have a county league bridge match in London tonight.

Aloha everyone,

I wasn't at all happy last night when they closed my turn-off on the motorway. It added 20 miles to my journey. The signs about it being closed were only displayed once we were past the previous junction.

We had a bit of a run in with our holiday company over our trip in November. Finally got compensation from them yesterday.
