It was actually a vest top @Gail_68 and after months of temperatures around 0C/32F I thought I'd make the most of it..... well, for fifteen minutes or so. :)

I wear the thermal vests long and short but today I got out for a few hours and enjoyed it, a lot warmer than yesterday but apparently rain again tomorrow :frown:

I've not seen much daylight this last week I've been refurbishing my linen/airing cupboard. Tomorrow I'm back in there to finish the new shelving.

Oh Gail! It's a gardeners rule! We only work inside when the weather's bad and it's been bad here since the start of November, so nothing's been done in the garden. We had and electrician in yesterday moving cables, taking out old lights, putting up new ones and he's left me with holes to fill, that's my next job. Then I alter some curtains and hopefully by the end of the week I can venture outside. :)

@Sheal it's just relaxing to get outside I find but at least your getting your home sorted.
Electricians can be a nightmare..about 5yrs back we had here all replaced with new electric's and they was on about tunnelling in the walls, I had the company bring protector for the flooring to be covered in every room, plus photo's was took before hand and the night before they came my hubby went in the loft and pulled all the electric wires that was fixed to the walls in the loft, so when they came all electric was pulled out through the electric box and sockets, the only plastering which was done was by socket holes and my hubby did them.

I wished I could sew...I have to buy curtains to fit right

Electricians, plumbers rarely visit without leaving holes, I'd just finished plastering after my new heating being installed, now I have a second round. I have to get my place straight, I've got various relatives coming to stay throughout April and May.

I usually make my own curtains but haven't got the time at the moment. My windows being odd sizes I have to shorten what I've bought.

I knew you had to plaster after your heating being done and now the electric's...sometimes @Sheal it can turn into a nightmare plus there's the stress on top needing to be right as you've stated before relatives come.

We have a couple of windows here that are different sizes and when we moved in I wanted vertical blinds and I was going to get some you alter by drop and my hubby said forget it, so we looked in the phone book got different quotes and paid £450 for them to be made and fitted but I had what they call a grade 3 and patterned plus my hubby didn't want curtains on a rail besides...there now mate :heehee:

Currently 11c going to 18c. Being winter it is hunting season so Sundays it starts spot on sunrise and goes on for a couple of hours. They cannot shoot in orchards or within 100 meters of houses, We live with thousands of orange trees around us so we are okay. The sound echos from the scrublands. They shoot rabbits, birds and wild boar.

Dull, dry, with hardly any breeze and a top temperature of 46f. Apart from the fact that it's got darker there's not been much change except for the temperature which is now 44f and the pressure is 999hpa.:coffee::snorky:
