Thanks @Gail_68 I am going to pot on the tulip tomorrow as it has lots of white roots coming out the bottom of the pot and it feels like it is getting a bit cramped in the flower pot.I chose the double Hellebore and Mr Kandy chose the single. We could have got more of them but these two had a yellow label so worked out cheaper than buying tow with blue labels that were not on offer. Will probably attack them tomorrow with me paint brush to pollinate them:snorky:

I took some photos yesterday afternoon of my other garden ones in flower but I can’t find the thread where I think people have put theirs onto:scratch:

At the garden centre they had camellia's coming out in flower :dunno: absolutely beautiful:love30: but a touch to early like mines getting ready to :gaah: but I was totally shocked at the price of this one, a bit larger than mine but fuller...get ready for the price as I nearly died of shock on the spot :yikes:

It's a nice Camellia but it's probably a bit "soft" from being brought on indoors:dunno::snorky: Some of the prices for Specimen plants are just ridiculous and won't be sold........but they like to "fish" to see if there are any takers!!:heehee:

Picked up two packs of nerine today from home & bargain at half price, I didn't want any more nerine but at £1.50 for 3 bulbs Very cheap for nerines and they are an excellent size bulb. The last lot I bought a couple of years ago were a lot more expensive and half the size.

My grasses arrived today :yahoo:. Very keen to start planting but weather here is set to get very cold at weekend with overnight frosts. I also bought 2 Aubretia and 2 Knautia today from hardware store.

Hi @ARMANDII i'm sure they try it on..i paid £25 for mine and that was at half price, it's not grown much but maturing slowly :dbgrtmb: but forcing them into early flowering than they should be is a shame, just so they can sell them better :)

My Market Gardener friends only sell "soft brought on" plants after giving advice to the seller and making it clear that the plant will need to be gently hardened off, which is why people keep going back to them.:love30::snorky:

See I like that :dbgrtmb:..knowing about the plants and explaining what to do, half these garden centre staff throw you a right load of rubbish...which sadly I've found out :mute:

You can never have too many seeds :) that's what I tell my husband ;)
I find those growbag trays really useful. In the past I've even had them in the house to put all my baby plants on when I've sown to much to early  Of course I don't do that anymore :heehee:
