Snowing hard here.

 

Went out into the kitchen and looked out of the window and saw the back garden looked white so looked out of the lounge curtains and saw this lot...

Mr Kandy was so sure we wouldn’t get any and it would miss us

 

Not seen this for a few years.

 

Wish i had the same enthusiasm as the last time i saw it like that Pete, worst i remember was 1976 ? from memory.

 

A gloomy start to the day but the sun appeared early afternoon and stayed until sunset. A big drop in temperature from yesterday's 11C/52F down to 3C/37F today. With a clear sky this evening it's currently down to -3C/27F.

 

Had a magnificent day. We went up to nearly 50f !! Brilliant sunshine loaded up my batteries while I made a new bit for my raised garden bed cover and attached it.

We are expecting the same tomorrow. We always get teased a little bit in January and February between the deep freezes and I sure do enjoy the

 

Not a flake of snow here ...yet. Chilly but not the end of the world as was being predicted. Time will tell how bad it will get. As long as it isn't as bad as 10/11, I won't moan too much. Glad you got your new heating in tho @Sheal

 

The forecasts up here have completely changed from yesterday @silu . I actually keep an eye on four. One for Inverness, another for the local area I'm in, one for the Isle of Man and the Jet Stream Chart. With the exception of the island you would think the others would be at least similar, but no. So I'll risk my local one which tends to be more accurate. Snow here from Wednesday for a week with a possible shower or two tomorrow.

So are we, thanks Silu but it'll be rendered useless if we get the promised power cuts, we have overhead cables here.

 

Woke up to a covering of snow and it's just started snowing again!
