Had about 6 inches or so of very fine powdery snow. Currently sunny but looking very dark over towards the east. The fieldfare has spent the morning eating apples which are lying on top of the hedge, so in a bit I will go out and see if I can find more under the snow to put there.

                It's "Groundhog Day!"

After more snow over-night and another "flurry" around 11.00 am. We're now looking much like we were, yesterday afternoon.

Reminds me of when we lived in a house on a side road off the main road around the Great Malvern. We had a similar sort of view from our garden. We had solid fuel central heating. You had to order enough of it in October, to last you through to March, in case the coal wagon couldn't get back up our side road to the main road after a delivery.

Hazardous journey back.....from perfect sunshine the world had turned white inside 15 minutes. Sunny again now but this is the thickest snow we have had down here for a dozen years. Tomorrow will be much worse!!!!
Not much more than 2 degrees above freezing even in the sunshine
In town I felt so sorry for a guy huddled in a closed down shop doorway.......took him into local Spoons. How can people live on the streets in these conditions????

Well done Verdun for your kind action to support that guy. It shouldn't happen in the UK, we are not a Third World Country, or are we?
