Was minus 5 when I left for work this morning, went all the way in second gear, never done 10 miles in second gear before, the roads, even the main ones, were packed snow and ice all the way.
Along the route the temps fluctuated but when I got to work it was reading minus 11.

Sunny most of the day, but it never got above freezing all day and was minus 3 when I got home at 5pm.

No snow, no ice, just a hard frost, an icy cold strong wind and partly sunny, min -4c, max 1c.
(Holes Bay north, a very small part of Poole harbour).

Blimey! @pete. We had snow today but it didn't settle which is surprising as it's been -7C at night and -1C during the day. That's the almonds b*******d for this year and the pear buds aren't looking too healthy

Beautiful @Gail_68! :) Sunny all day with a cold breeze and not a snow flake in sight....yet. The temperature made it to -4C/25F by mid afternoon but is currently reading -7C/19F and dropping.

Thanks for your concern @Gail_68 :)

We've had better weather up here this last year than the rest of the country, I don't suppose it will last though. We've also had four fairly heavy falls of snow since the middle of November so perhaps we're getting a break this time. :)

Your temperatures are lower than ours, I think your living in the wrong place Gail.

Would that be a full Scottish breakfast @Gail_68 with haggis, black pudding etc. or.....

:snorky: I can't stand porridge either and don't like haggis. It has a strong flavour and tastes a bit like liver, I don't like liver either. :doh:Okay Special K for you and Rice Krispies for me. :)

Night, night. I'm off for an hour with a puzzle before hitting the hay.

Morning all, light snow and temperature -5 to -4.
Very windy. Put on extra layers of clothing to walk barley.
