                Worn gloves today for the first time this winter, plus my 'sensible' hat with ear flaps.

                Might even put the heating on tonight because it's too flippin cold outside to cut any more wood.

                    The temperature was 21f [-6C] this morning and has hovered between 22f and 25f all day, but I have a feeling that the temperature is on a slow rise in trend, even though it has remained below freezing all day. The skies are totally cloud covered and the wind has picked up to around 7mph with gusts up to 15mph, making it feel absolutely stinging cold on the face.:hate-shocked: So right now, the cats are gazing out of the windows, well, one is, while the other is snoring in front of the fire.:cat-kittyandsmiley: and, like me, there's no thought of going outside for the rest of the day.:coffee::heehee: So the temperature right now is 24f [-4C], the wind is still coming from the East, and the pressure reading is 983hpa.:snorky:

                                It getting very windy, it blowing the wheely bin round for fun. Its snowed for most of the day and cause a few deep snow drifts, a couple of multi car pile ups on the motorways, one near ramsbottom / bury 16 cars involved I think it said on the news.
