      Not a bad day shopping.

Plastic riddle (approx 14” dia) £1.99
      55cm plastic planter £2.99
      30l John Innes No3 £3.49
      2 x plastic builders buckets @ 70p each.

For a long time I have thought about cheap builders buckets but never committed. I’m often pottering about wishing I had some bigger temporary pots. Builders buckets are ideal, especially at only 70p each.

Jack , the £1 bucket ( in your case 70p ! ) are ideal planters for starting larger plants in . Lots of us use them on here . If you are using them outside as planters , make sure you drill a few holes in the bottom for drainage. Don't forget which ones have the holes in though , dear Liza :snorky:

I'm thinking of buying a Bosch trimmer to cut my lavender plants into balls and other plants I do shape...so I don't have to keep on with garden hedge clippers.

As anyone brought these or similar and are they any good .. as they had some in Aldi's my hubby said but a cheaper brand.:)

Well not sure about that small size one. BUt I bought a bosch cordless hedge trimmer last year and it has been brilliant. Battery life is pretty impressive. I love using it! he he.

If you've got a lot to be doing id go for bosch due to battery life. Also, mine has the interchangable bettery packs that i can use with other bosch power tools-handy!
