Been listening to some '90s trip hop this evening..............






Not strictly trip hop but she was heavily influenced by the genre after leaving the Sugarcubes..........

I recently bought my wife a DAB radio for her birthday. We listen to Smooth. The songs are very good but they do repeat them. It’s more apparent when you are at home a lot as I am at the moment. Until recently our local radio station broadcast on DAB. That was one of the reasons we bought the radio.

Daryl Hall wrote this song with the name Sara in the title and another, Las Vegas Turnaround (The Stewardess Song) which was about a girl called Sara.

I only found out today that Mark E Smith passed away whilst I was on one of my work trips. Here's to you MES and RIP..................

I'd rather listen to these Scandi twins than the "Fab Four."





And they can do Beach Boys.

 

To each their own, of course, but in my opinion, there only two or three cover versions of Beatles songs have ever matched their originals, and none have ever bettered them.

IMHO All of the "Fab Four" were excellent musicians!

 

Not a big fan of the Beatles but here are some great cover versions.............
