I have a little story to tell you about Veronica the hen :thud:! My Veronica is the most inquisitive hen I've ever known :doh:she doesn't miss a trick! She's a absolute dear but she's learnt a new trick, she can get through the cat flap...yes you read that right :yikes:, I got home late from work a couple of weeks ago to find her on top of my new range cooker roosting! :nonofinger: (All kitchen areas have been throughly cleaned with sanitiser & disinfectant!) I told her she was a naughty girl, she replied with a gentle soft bok- bok noise! I picked her up kissed her told her I loved her very much, even if she was a naughty girl! Then I put her in her coop with her sisters....I'm far too soft!, Kev isn't amused :noidea:.

Another pet lover like myself and I know it's not amusing but it's how you said it mate :snorky:

I've been feeding a wild cat here since she was young last summer and 4 others have turned up out the blue...quite big and I found out today they're the neighbours up the road, she having a game to get them in doors...I thought I know why they've took up lodgings in my back garden :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Sarafi isn't our cat, isn't allowed in the house but he's very sly at creeping in when people arrive.

Awww, how sweet. Bit of a,surprise for you to wake up to though :snorky:. My cat has slept on the bed since day he arrived. He will lie on my chest/stomach and then gradually slide off into the space between R and me. I'm not a cat person but I've been pleasantly surprised at how affectionate Dimitris is - I didn't think cats were capable of expressing that.

Morning @luciusmaximus the right cat in your hands and your well away but if it's anything like the first female I had...OMG she'd rip you apart then let you pick her up, so she was rehomed and I brought my male cat bobby now he was beautiful and when he was 12mths I bought a staffy pup and to get them introduced, I held bobby in between my legs and his front paws and the pup licked his face several times, no response from bobby and when I released him...they was the best of friends, never in my life see to animals love one another so much. :love30:

It's a no no she scratches and bites herself like mad [IMG]fleas:yikes:....and she won't let you pick her up as I tried when she was younger, so I could comb her and start treatment before that started but she's well fed daily and not neglected in that way

They can certainly be affectionate. :blue thumb: Oscar adopted us (he lived in the greenhouse) and he and Mrs Shiney were inseparable. :cat-kittyandsmiley: :wub2:
