This afternoon went to see my friend keith. He has ms and in a wheelchair. Has carers in the morning and at night to help him. He has a computer and he makes his own greetings cards. He prints pictures for them and i cut them out and help him put them on the cards. He's very cheerful about things.

For me it was more of an admin day. Ordered a load of 'home made' cakes from the W.I. for a 100th party in a few weeks.

Doing a lot of housing benefit emails for the people I help (they all received their notifications from the council and I have till the end of the month to sort them out). It's mainly checking the figures re other benefits received and any savings they may have. although I send them an update every year they still seem to ignore the fact that I've told them that a lot of the accounts (mainly building society ones) no longer exist.

Chased up the delivery of my new car. Ordered it at the beginning of Jan for delivery early March. Now find out that they haven't made any :mute: . The orders are just going onto the production line, in China :hate-shocked:, and I may get it sometime around September. :wallbanging:

I've also been giving a couple of people advice about accident claims (holiday hospitalisations).

Lots more paperwork today but shall also get some gardening in and go for a walk.

Well here goes :phew:...my day started off ok with my dentist appointment and doing some odd shopping:thumbsup:

Got back home and my hubby shouted me:hate-shocked: or what...while we was out the neighbour at the back had the tree cutters in lopping their conifers half way and the mess on our garden was terrible over my hubbies sheds besides taking one of my plants down on the side... i just can't say how i felt :cry3:....hubby grabbed his camera took photo's got them around, took details of who to phone if the plant fails growth as the leaves was weak and the cheeky s_d said it's ok, well i soon told him and also they was lucky it had just missed my new pampas grasses...they cleaned the mess up besides fetching 4 large barks left lose in the conifers.

@Gail_68 sorry to hear that :grphg: but at least they came round to clear up :noidea: and, if the plant doesn't perk up by mid April I'd charge them for a new plant.

A few years back one of our 70ft poplars snapped at a height of 15ft and dumped the other 55ft into our neighbour's garden :yikes:. I fixed his hedge and replaced his plants. :blue thumb:

Although I'm very busy trying to catch up on things since getting home (never seem to catch up ) I've now been asked to draft the claim letter for a woman who fell and broke her hip whilst on holiday. The fall happened because the hotel hadn't taken due care and put a warning sign on an almost invisible step. The next day two more people fell with one fracturing his spine in three places!

@Gail_68 sorry to hear that. You should have been informed that they was going to do it.

Just listened to you playing, that's amazing. It reminds me of the carpenters doing that song on their christmas album which I've got of course.
                :ThankYou:

Thank you for your kind words, they probably aren't the, right chords, as I'm busking it. I like to bung in a few jazz chords to make it more interesting.

I rarely play that except at Christmas time, my wife gets irritated if I start playing it in September. I get shouts of "Too early!" from the other room, when she's beavering away on making her Christmas cards. She knows I only do it to wind her up.
