Quite a few great memory series there @shiney . Hancock , remember the blood donor sketch . No hiding place :blue thumb:. Quatermass was so scifi scarey that we did not need laxatives in the 50's 60's. Remember the Trollenberg Terror - I was 7 years old in 1958 , you can't let kids watch that before bedtime now :snorky:

My favourite oldie show is Peter Gunn, Perry Mason a close second.

My current favourite ia a soap from your side of the pond, Corrie. And in between those showings, the remote is not under my control :)

Then there was "Party of Five."

What bloke wouldn't want to watch Neve Campbell and Jennifer Love Hewitt in the same show?

Peter Gunn was a popular show in the USA in the late fifties.

Though it wasn't shown over here at the time, the music was available.

I bought the LP of this version. I still have it.

                      This is my favourite track.
Victor Feldman on Vibes, Conte Candoli on Trumpet

Conte Candoli had a brother Pete, another trumpet player, they both appeared in the film
"Bell, Book and Candle," playing "Stormy Weather" in the night club scene. They are both dead now.

I'm a mine of useless information.

You're right Pete , we are going back over 50 years . Fireball XL5 had Zoonie. According to IMDB , the special effects department spent nearly half an hour making the puppet. :snorky:
Space patrol had the Gabblerdictum ( but the same special effects department )
