Yawn yawn, wakey wakey Autumn 2018

I didn't need to as I told her not to buy it. It's a semi-detached townhouse (three floors) and the rooms weren't too bad a size (kitchen a bit too small for my liking) but the lounge was too dark. They had built a conservatory on to it and put a solid roof on it! So the lounge didn't have much light.

Ground floor was a hall, small bedroom, bathroom and kitchen (level with the front garden). First floor was the lounge (but on a level with the back garden) and the biggest bedroom next to it (access only from the lounge). Top floor a largish bedroom with Velux skylights and a number of good size store cupboards.

A bit topsy turvy for a house! It just didn't feel right. The price wasn't cheap becuase it is in a posh village. I think that to get a nice house to suit her and her daughter she should really choose a less expensive area - but couldn't tell her that! I think she has her mind set on a nice village location and will just have to come to the right conclusion herself.

Computer is supposed to arrive back from hospital this morning. It'll still need a fan transplant but I can check its rejuvenation whilst we're waiting for the delivery and installation.

I'll be out all day today at a national bridge tournament.
