@2nd_bassoon Can't you fix the obelisk into the ground just outside the pot? :)

I have both of these plants. They are currently in different places. It's given me an idea for when I move them to there permanent homes.

          Cheers

It's on a patio, @shiney, and quite a tall pot - the bottom "rung" of the obelisk would sit on the edges of the pot with the feet dangling a few inches off the ground. I'm only struggling because I'm being stubborn; in my head I pictured a square, cream-coloured obelisk, but all the ones that would fit are black and round :rolleyespink:

My begonias are potted up and waiting for the right time to go out into the garden. Sitting under the blind like that should give them dappled light without overpowering them. They are currently in the lounge which is where the grandchildren will be sleeping tomorrow night. Hopefully everything will still be intact on Monday morning. :fingers crossed:

I was tidying up my plant labels and I discovered I had some allium bulbs i hadn't used in the autumn. I have put them in pots to see what they will do. One variety had some nice shoots growing. It would be nice to have some spare ones. :snorky:

A beautiful little guy Verdun, congratulations on becoming a dog parent again. Hopefully he won't make burn patches on the lawn or mess up the beds, I can already see a cheeky glint in his eye ;) You have the ideal landscape for him to enjoy.. hopefully he'll have better recall than Barney

A beautiful morning and promises to be so all day.....AND, an extra hour too of daylight this evening.....heralding spring and summer.
Hopefully, a fair bit of gardening will be done; weeding I guess will be a good start
