They're real killers aren't they? :snorky: Shall I tell you what breed he is?

He wishes! He's actually sitting beside the bath.:biggrin:

The bath! No wonder he looks in trouble :lunapic 130165696578242 5: I'm guessing he's pit bull? Or at least a mix? Gorgeous dogs if treat well. It's thugs who mistreat these breeds that give them a bad name:old:
We have a lot of staffies in this area, another beautiful, good family pet but given a bad name by idiots who treat them badly and encourage them to fight :wallbanging::frown::mute:

Yes, he's an American Pit Bull (my son lives there) and gentle natured, but like most dogs he will defend his territory, a bark is usually enough. :)

Yesterday was such a nice day that I went over my veg patch in the garden again and got rid of all the emerging weeds. Still nothing else on the plot at the moment but I expect that to change within the next few weeks.

Very jealous BH, all my Aquilegias have the downy mildew so will stay away from growing them for a couple of years :( one of my absolute favourites

Clearing stuff out of my indoors growbox into the greenhouse to make way for more seed sowing, and shifting stuff out of the greenhouse to the plot to make room for what was indoors, plus sorting out some temporary polytunnel staging to keep stuff like onions, peas, garlic, sweet peas, etc. away from mice.

Utilised this old framework that was being chucked out by a local business a few years ago (we get regularly get asked if we want people's 'rubbish'). Previously used to keep plants above rabbits, it's a perfect fit and the slats can be removed and the framework left insitu come tomato planting time.

Awww so sorry to read that news @Mark56 :frown:
:phew: I have been soooo lucky, well so far :fingers crossed: - I had a lot of my original plants and seed from the lovely Carrie (Touchwood Aquilegias) and after seeing what happened to hers it was heartbreaking  - Please let me know when your able to risk growing some again I would gladly gift you some seedlings in the post - As Carrie has said some strains just might be more resilient to the virus :blue thumb: ...so it's important to keep trying a small amount of new stock as a trail ... Anyway here's to the day that your garden will be able to grace them again  as they are also one of my all-time favorites too :imphrt:

I actually managed to drag my behind outside (haven't been well) and deal with my buddleia jungle. Only five more to go and then they're sorted. I'm knackered now so I'll do the rest tomorrow. Also need to put less clothes on as it feels really warm in the sunshine!!

I'm with you on that one, though I only had four to start with so not nearly as big a job! One left to do, but I keep putting it off - it's growing out the top of the back wall, so it's incredibly awkward to access. And I'm running out of space to put the deadwood afterwards

What a beautiful day today, we were able to get out and buy some strawberry plants from B&Q, and also a Sage for our herb bed. The herb bed is looking good now, we have Rosemary, Thyme, Oregano and now Sage. One funny thing we've noticed is the starlings stripping bits of thyme and flying off with beak full of it, guessing for nesting materials?! Cheeky but quite cute too. So lovely to see so many signs of growth now, trees in bud, crocosmia bulbs starting to shoot, and our window boxes full of mini daffs.
My seedlings in the windowsill are all doing well now too, I'm excited to see how my teddy bear sunflowers turn out, they look like they'll be really sweet, we sowed six of them and they've all germinated. We also each have a Titan sunflower. I've also sowed teasel, for the birds though will have to wait until next year for flowers. And a hardy geranium which I'm pleasantly surprised has germinated as seed packet said it can be a bit erratic.
                                love Spring :)
One of my weeping cherry trees is about to blossom, snow showers I think it's called, pics to follow once in bloom!
