1 of my favourite early flowering herbaceous.Someone told me if I cut it right back immediately after flowering it will flower again? This doesn't sound right to me, it's not like doing a Chelsea Chop. Has anybody tried it? I don't have huge quantities of the plant unlike most of my herbaceous collection but suppose I could try doing it on a little portion.

Me neither @Marley Farley. I was extremely dubious when this person who proports to be knowledgeable:rolleyespink: on all things gardening informed me of this, hence why I thought I'd pass it past the GC members to see what they thought...not much, as I did:). I will leave well alone and accept the plant will only flower once, and very very pretty it is too when doing so.
