As this has been mentioned, here's my copy.

Given that I recorded this on my old little Lumix DMC LZ7, it still gives you an idea of the reproduction from a vinyl jukebox with a powerful stereo amplifier and two 8" plus two 12" speakers.
I heard this in a film on TV called "Adventureland," produced in 2009. "The post vinyl 45rpm era."
But I was able to source a 45rpm record as it was released in 1986.

Nice machine ive seen this type a few times over the years, it looks very good i have a old wind up gramophone i will get round to restoring it one day.

"Trivia alert!"

What makes this for me is the two tenor sax solos by "Boomie" Richman, playing a legendary Selmer Mk Vl saxophone, using a baritone reed. He was on and off, part of the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra but like many jazz musicians did session work with pop bands and orchestras. The orchestra is Dick Jacobs'. The track was recorded on October 21, 1958 four months before Holly's death (February 3, 1959). But not released until May 1960 and only got to no. 25 in the UK charts, but hasn't it endured?

Love buddy holly probably the best singer song writer ever lived imho, never had the time to proof it unfortunately a very sad loss.
