Meant to add I have ordered slug nematodes for veg patch. Hopefully they will arrive tomorrow. They have been very effective over last 2 years
Tempted by another edgeworthia ......mine performed quite well over the winter. Nice plant for the darkest months

 

It's not about spoilsport Verdun ...we both know who will come up trumps

We get some slugs here...in the past they've eaten plant leaves away, even some nice cabbage plants i had in the front garden they destroyed

 

Got the lamb wool pellets, must remember to order the nematodes. Noticed the little buggers on my Thalia Daff buds and petals in broad daylight the other day, what a cheek they've got eh?!

 

I went to hardware store for wood pellet cat litter ( for the Rats ) and a few other bits and came out with 4 wild flower plugs and 2 lemon balm plants

 

Asda were selling Scabious, Bleeding heart and Erysimum Bowles Mauve all for £3 each, all nice, good sized plants too, so we've bought some of each for our front garden.

 

Went to the RHS flower show in Cardiff today so I've picked up these

Epimediums: Spine tingler, amber queen and artic wings.



Pulmonaria "Victorian brooch"


Euphorbia x martinii "Ascot rainbow"


Fritillaria persica




Fritillaria lutea (slugs have eaten my attempt at a red one this year again so I've cheated big time )


Lunaria annua "chedglow"


Eucomis: "playa Blanca" "comosa" and "sparkling burgundy"



And last but not least some gin

 

Reduced to 50p in poundstretcher picked up the last 4. Drawstring top and easy access zip slot


Forever losing secateurs so picked up ones for 1.69.. they even greased the blades!

 

@Linz i've got some identical had them for years and last year my hubby brought some new ones with a locking system on top and they are sharp

 

Ah @Gail_68 they didn't last 10 minutes... snapped the handle off earlier haha!!

 

Linz these ones are similar to the new ones i have and they are good...sorry about those breaking
