Well being as it was a glorious day here...the conifer was removed out of the front garden, once the branches had been cut off, the stump left looks like a rock in wood affect :heehee: ....it was replaced by 4 pink pampas grasses which grow to 6ft and hopefully will grow in a large cluster to cover the ground the conifer covered before it was removed and then another two bags of gravel was added to the garden to top it up again.

After listening to members advice on my front garden since joining, then losing my bottle brushes...i'm really pleased at the out come and can't wait to see how the summer establishes my plants and grasses :yahoo:

Thanks mate as i am pleased with the front..just the fencing needs staining now and the pink slabs by the windows blasting off, the backs done...same for fencing and slabs doing there.

We had 2 or 3 skips when we moved here 10yrs ago medium size, can't remember exactly how many because as soon as they was being filled besides green bins...we needed another plus my hubby removed the neighbours shed for her also besides rubbish she didn't want.

Have you noticed it's always money and paying out [IMG][IMG]

It looks lovely Gail, have you ever considered a few pots with plants in them, i think they would look nice and you could move them around and have a change of view every now and then,

I understand peeps gardens are personal to them and it looks lovely as it is just a suggestion.

One year I had lovely hanging baskets on the front. Then one morning when I went out to work they had gone :yikes:. I can’t believe somebody would steal hanging baskets :gaah: :cry3: Within 24 hours next door had chained and padlocked his hanging baskets. Nothing like that has ever happened since :phew:
