Currently trawling Rightmove looking for somewhere else to live :snorky:

Foxtail Barley gave up without a fight. Others are ok I think. Thinking about what to replace the Foxtails with.

You've just done your pond and brought new plants but if you need to move well you have to :dunno:

If you've not got any ponytail grasses...they would look nice, as i've put 3 young together and the ends are going white and fluffy looking already and they're quite fetching when i've saw them established while out :)

You`ve made a cracking job of that, and I think your son has very good taste in 'gnomes' - please make sure you tell him I said so :loll:

What kind of safety fence/net will you use? Ponds can be death traps for small children - I know someone locally who lost a 3 year old in a small and shallow pond. :cry3:

I've already got 5 Pony Tail grasses, 3 were bought from same company I got Foxtails and 2 were 50p each bargains from local garden centre. Nothing much happening with any of them yet, but they look ok, just need a bit of warmth.

Been thinking of moving for awhile, not just because of the weather, other factors too. Having trouble finding anywhere similar to what I have now for my budget. Unless we went to Southern Ireland. Which I like idea of but its too much of an adventure for Roger.
