We planted some Borage last summer and also got some seeds in some Bee and Butterfly seeds we got for free, in the post. It spread everywhere and was stunning, last summer! Then, of course, it died off for the winter, but some grew back, in the back garden, but then died (As expected) in the snow we had. But none of the Borage has grown back again yet, which we are very disappointed about, as we thought it would all grow back again like crazy from where all the flowers had dropped off last year and set seed! :frown:

Do we need to buy more Borage seeds, or a plant to set them going again? We really want most of our garden covered in Borage as it was last year, because it's so pretty and the bees LOVE it!! :snorky:

Well I have a patch that I keep going and my self seeders are all growing well and even still coming through.. I would hang on a bit and see if this warm weather will spark them into life.. It readily reseeds itself, as you know, however sometimes borage does not flower the first year and can also be biennial. Otherwise yes I think you might sow some more seed but it should be started outside about mid May or after last frosts at least.. It doesn’t though, usually flower the first year though..

Ok, I'll get some more seeds and try again then. Thanks! :)
