Good morning everyone. Yes there is no telling with eyes. My mother had glaucoma and her mother before her so it runs in the family. At least I can still see, which my mother couldn't at my age. Just wanted to get them sorted. When he was doing the new lenses I require I was amazed at the difference they are going to make. I have notified DVLA and I think they will require me to undergo a visual fields test to make sure that they will be happy with me continuing to drive. I hope I can get my licence back soon as I want to get the car MOT before the end of May and if possible so I may be able to come to the Open Day, which would be nice to see everyone again.

Have a good day all stay warm and dry, if possible, and above all safe and well, God bless. :wub2:

Hi @Gail_68 yes my friend,I know many people who are frightened to have it done,as indeed Mrs Woo was,but the alternative doesn't(Going blind) bear thinking about, and I have many people asking lots of question about the procedure every day and it only takes about 20 minutes, each eye,and If there are any people who are reading this you ,then get it done, you know it makes sense:smile::smile:

          Afternoon later people :)

Just got back from car boot. Made £62, met a new gardening friend, got some work and found another sale to do on Saturday :)

Better get potting up after lunch :sunflower:

Have a good afternoon everyone :spinning:

I had laser eye surgery done on both eyes a few years back to correct astigmatism. Best thing I ever did.

                      Aloha everyone,

@moyra It will be good to see you back at ShineyLand. :blue thumb:

I've been busy today still setting things up on the computer and also deleting filed emails (deleted 2,000 so far).

After I installed the classic version of Skype (the updated version wouldn't accept our login and password, whereas the classic version took it immediately) I then had trouble sorting out the sound options

Someone Skyped us and they couldn't hear what we were saying although we could hear them. I wanted to go straight into the settings but didn't want to seem rude and cut them off. So I wrote a note to say what's happening and held it up to the camera. Until I did that I didn't realise that it would come out back to front :hate-shocked:. So I had to write the note again - but backwards. :phew: I haven't quite got my head around why it was backwards.

Keep well and have a great day

                      Aloha!

                            Aloha everyone,

That's good news @Zigs hope you get it. :fingers crossed:

It's windy here but little rain - yet.

Mrs Shiney is off to London this afternoon on a course. They forecast disruption on the trains :rolleyespink:

I shall stay nice and cosy indoors - apart from taking her to the station and picking her up again.

Keep well and have a great day

                            Aloha!
