      Afternoon later people :)

      Been a bit of a week of it :doh:

      First my wifi broke, so I had to reset the puter, wiping all my passwords :doh:

      Then the mouse broke, went and bought a new one :doh:

      Then me data ran out :doh:

      But never mind, back now :)

      Was up before dawn, this little Ziggy went to market.

      Cacti were selling well, should do better soon as they'll be flowering :spinning:

      Made £50 and doing another one in the morning :)

          @Zigs do you ever sell any paperbacks? Or are interested in doing so? I might be able to get the folks on the bookstall to give you a box full. They usually only sort them out Sunday evening but they may be able to put some aside.

            Last Sunday I took a punt and spent my last £10 to pay the car boot fee, now got £365 in my pocket and pricing a job for around £3000 :) So not all bad :biggrin:

            Sold an empty cigarette packet for 10/- today :whistle: :biggrin:

            They might sell with the grockles coming down to stay in caravans over summer, ta :)

                  Aloha everyone,

                  After all my gardening yesterday, in the hot sun, I needed a bit of assistance to get into and out of my chair :doh:. Mrs Shiney gave my back a good massage and it's a lot better now :blue thumb:. So I've already done a little bit of gardening. :)

                  I'll take it much more gently today.

                  Good morning all. Shiney you must takes things a bit easier. I know it is hard when it is coming up to Open Day. Not sure things went as well as they could have done yesterday I haven't settled in to these new glasses yet. They are supposed to be varifocals but they seem to look a bit bifocal to me. Hmm will have to see.

                    @moyra The trouble is that I don't know that I've been overdoing things until a few hours later! :doh:

                    I never did like varifocals and got them to agree that if I wasn't able to get on with them they would change them to bifocals free of charge. you could try and say to them that the gradual change between the vision is not right for you and is tending to make you unsure on your footing. Then ask them to change them for bifocals.

                          I've already been in the garden today. I shall get a bit of tidying up done whilst it's cool. The vast difference between yesterday's hot weather and the cool overnight temperature has created a very heavy dew. I won't be able to mow until later.

                          We have friends coming (the ones who run the kitchen on Open Day) so shall need to get everything ready.

                            Shiney, I have had varifocals for years, why these ones seem different I do not know. Maybe it is just that my eyes have not adjusted t0 them yet. We shall see but I am not hopeful about the results of my eye tests. Hope the DVLA do not take too long to let me know.
