Well I have been pleased today ...hubby removed the moss on the front of the roof to the property and cleaned out drains back and front...he's got the back to do but he had a [IMG]and rest and did the fencing on the right side in Dark oak...lifted the panel and put card board underneath...while I sat back and watched [IMG]

Oh I am a very pleased lady...tomorrow the back roof gets finished and the rest of the fencing :hapydancsmil:....we thought it would be to dark but it's actually turned out nice in our opinion :love30:

They seemed OK but I decided not to take the chance of getting too close :heehee:. Apparently, they're deadly :yikes: but we had a man with a rifle with us. :blue thumb:

Sorry for going off topic so much :love30:

Yesterday, after I said I had finishes for the day - weather too hot and back too achy. I went back out in the evening and potted on, ready for sale, 15 Erysimum Bowles Mauve and 10 Euphorbia Ascot Rainbow. They're always good sellers :blue thumb:

It will have to be a gentle day today. I have another load of chillies to pot on. They've all started flowering so will need a feed as well - it takes a while to feed 100 hungry chilli plants :rolleyespink:. I should also put out the 400 or so runner bean plants for hardening off but my back says 'No!'.

All work I do today will have to be things that can be done whilst standing upright. :)

Excitement here yesterday! Firstly me and mr snorks took down most of the rotting pergola and cleared away ivy at the back of the garden where the new office/greenhouse will be. It was scorching hot! Lovely to be out. On the way to the tip we noticed our neighbours...one of the farmers....had BOMB SQUAD at their house. An hour or so later they had done a controlled explosion which shook the houses!! Our neighbour up on the lotty threw his wheelbarrow and ducked for cover!!! :lolpt::roflol: Apparently farmer had fishedit out the local canal and was polishing it and suddenly thought it might be live!!!

                  IMG_5589.JPG

Bit annoyed they didnt come round to warn us about the explosion...especially as there's other animals and horses about, and we have a horses helping people centre in the next field who have a lot of patients there with ptsd etc. Well, turned out everyone was ok luckily.

Today wont be as full of drama (i hope). Planning on potting on my cut flower plants. Currently sat on the patio trying to get rid of my craft gin hangover with a nice brew and it's 22C already!

Didn't do much today, usual koi pool pump sump purging, tied up a few clematis, cleaned car and golf clubs ready for tomorrow. (When you're retired, you don't get Bank Holidays). Will do a bit of watering later on, particularly the lollypop acer in the front garden, it's a very thirsty tree.

Talking of thirst.... Had "one or two of these."

Had a great morning up at the lotty planting out cosmos, zinnia, salvia etc for cutting. Been too hot so been laid in the garden under the awning. Now it's cooled down a little I've just planted up my pots of dwarf dahlia that I've grown from seed (wilko 25p packet!). Pleased with the results! :)
