Yawn yawn, wakey wakey Autumn 2018

Good morning everyone its a lovely May morning hope you are all OK and firing on all cylinders enjoy your day and keep smiling

 

Aloha everyone,

I'm not sure that I'm firing on all cylinders as I seem to be a bit woozy this morning. If I move my head quickly the world wobbles and I haven't imbibed any alcofrolics.

Yesterday I got a lot of digging/weeding done in the watered half of the veggie pitch. Although we had rain early yesterday morning it didn't soften the non-watered part so couldn't dig there. So put the sprinkler on that part for a few hours. Hopefully I'll be able dig there.

Michael hasn't been around for a couple of weeks and we seem unable to contact him (not answering messages). I've heard through the grapevine that his truck engine has packed up. So it looks as though we shall need to find some new help in the garden.

We need to take Mrs Shiney's car for its first service today so no MOT needed - for a change .

Windy and warm here. Woozles are wombling off now . Only a light touch of them. Off out to lunch now so should feel better later.

Hi @wiseowl I agree, what a lovely start to the day There's some much needed rain forecast for this afternoon/evening so I've done a little bit in the garden this morning.

We have a busy day today and I also want to get some mowing and weeding done. Mrs Shiney is off this morning to a plant sale in the next village and I'm taking six trays of plants to an allotment society sale a few villages away. We always give them plants as they're a good society and need the extra money. It also helps them towards their annual scarecrow displays. A couple of the people play in the ukulele band that plays at our Open Day.

Good Sunday morning all my friends,it feels quite cold but it is dry now,but it rained all day yesterday and most of night,anyway the weather not important,have a lovely Sunday and keep smiling

Yesterday didn't work out too good for me as my back and neck suddenly went bad . Mrs Shiney gave them a massage and also used some machine on my back and it's a lot better but I shall take it easy today.

We need to plant out some runner beans to see whether my rabbit defences are working.

One of our lay pheasants has been back in the garden for the last three days. This is the first time for months that we've seen a pheasant and they're usually here all winter.
