Solved Invasive plant

Hi guys,
I really hope someone can ID this plant for me. It's wrapped around a bush in my garden and it's got worse this year. I've pruned most of it back again but it's just going to get worse. It's now starting to get into next doors garden. It's woody at the base and sends runners out. I'd love anything you know about this

 

Every time you prune it, it will grow stronger. To get rid, if you don`t like Vinca - you need to dig the roots out.

 

Yes just dig it out and pull out any long adventitious roots.
Isnt it funny? Used to love the variegated vinca major and planted loads of it....the blue flowers, the attractive foliage, etc. Had it with ajuga Burgundy Glow and thought it looked good. Now? All gone. Best in wild parts of the garden or beside a pool, prob in a plunged pot

Was coming on to ask about a runner that's invading some of my plants, and stumbled on this, looks exactly the same, so thanks for sharing! Just moved in, need to work out what I've got.
