I tried to spray once. It just ran everywhere. It ran between the gaps and into my neighbours garden.

These electric spray guns are called , HVLP . That is High Volume Low pressure. You get a constant pressure from the electric motor and the proper spray nozzle forms a regular cone for spraying . They work very well , and cleaning them after does not take too long

 

Delighted to see my pennisetum Rubrum and Fireworks have survived the winter and growing now. What Beast from the East? Eucomis Dark Star is growing too.

Cut grass, planted out more agastaches and watered the gh.....its been hot again today

 

Whey hey! Busy day 10km walk follow d by day on the lotty clearing it so I can use my neighbours raised beds-full of thistles about 5ft high!!!

planted in 4 winter squash and loads of zinnia, cosmos and sunflowers that desperately needed planting.

Then had to cover it all up because of potential frost!!!

Come back and decanted my homemade rhubarb gin...god it is gorgeous if I may say so myself! ....hic!!!

 

Ive been installing barge board fascia and gutter on the summer house also gave them a under coat a few bits of wood work left to do then gloss and a repaint then the other side to fascia and gutter.

Hi Martin I see you've been hard at it again mate ...but you've done a nice job there ...is the paint a bluish grey colour as it looks it to my eyes

 

shiney I just like the pattern of how you've had it done...we mentioned before how long it takes you with yours...that's a lot of hours mate ...ours is done once a year and he had a new pressure this year and it was powerful really moved the marks and those black bits besides the acid he gets does a good job before hand.

Ive bought a green colour but i don't like it i will take it back tomorrow, what i wanted was a red but cant find one that suitable i might have to have one mixed and get what i want providing they can mix exterior paint.

 

After a run around Brussels this morning, I got some gardening done this afternoon.

Another few grass-boxes from cutting the grass, which has emptied the petrol tank. This means we can now take the mower back (under warranty) as the self-propel cable has snapped. Hopefully it won't be too long before we get it back. It's 2 years into its 5 year warranty, and the cable has snapped off at the handle-end, so relatively easy to "diagnose" and hopefully to fix. We still have the old mower (self-propel also failed, but "deeper in") - a much lighter and smaller mower, so at least easier to use on our slope.

Did another lasagne layer on the middle compost bay, which I now declare officially Full!

Made most of the framework for the runner beans. I need to clean off a couple more bean-poles from the coppiced hazel, but i have cut them from the base. Some weeds pulled, and plants watered, then it was time to cook tea!

 

Martin I saw it on the link it is a blue going on to grey...the reason I asked is because I like it mate
I'm not into green for colouring...to me it's for grass and plants but everyone to their own

Having one mixed Martin might not be what you want when you do it..we had that done once for the home, it looked lovely in the shop but on the walls ...i'm saying no more as it was soon replaced

 

I guessed as much shiney but what catches my eye with it..is the colours you've chosen it really makes them stand out

 

It wasn't a grass green it was green orchid but yes colours are personal,

Its got to be better than whats available all i can find is pillar box red and terracotta pillar box red is too bright and terracotta not for me.
