    Today was exceptionally hot and sticky and very busy. We started off with people having tea and cake or cream teas - or both and quickly graduated to the quaffing of Pimm's.

    It's all over and we're still clearing up. Chairs are stacked ready for pickup as are the tables. The Gazebos have been dismantled, packed and taken away. Protective lawn coverings still need to be put into the loft.

    I guess it will take another couple of days to get everything sorted, garden tidied up, rubbish disposed of (10 big bin bags), floors cleaned etc. The raffle will need to be drawn and all prize winners contacted.

    It was an exhausting day
