Our lollypop acer at its best, it's taller than it appears, nearly up to the top of the first floor windows. I have to give it plenty of water to stop the leaves going crusty.

            P1010616.JPG

Our last wisteria to flower, it has pink blooms, it's in a little bed up against the fence outside the kitchen window.

            P1010618.JPG

One bit is trained around the side of the house. It doesn't get much sun.

After not bothering for a few years I got back into koi keeping with these I bought for a tenner each in 2011. They were between five and seven inches long.

They came by courier overnight in a poly bag in a box.

            Here are some now.

            P1010620.JPG

            They're all pretty big now.
The "star" is this Tancho Sanke, (which must be nearly 24"). That's a white fish with black markings and a red head. As opposed to Showas, which are black fish with white and red markings.

            P1010622.JPG

            P1010624.JPG

If the marking were better balanced, it might be worth a few bob.

They seem to prefer the birds' suet pellets and dried mealworms rather than their expensive koi pellets.

Zilly, this can be spelt either way - I always leave out the J - it doesn`t look right to me, so I always stick an ''i'' in :rolleyespink:
Nigels`s Buddleia is a very posh variety I think that I for one have never even heard of ....

I will do when they decide to open...as they're not quite large enough at the back but the front one does a lovely show every year :)

Difficult to appreciate on a photo as the flowers of Irish Moss (Sagina Subulata) are tiny:
