Hubby ordered a TV from John Lewis. They said that it would be delivered today. But hubby got a call and they said that it wasn't on the delivery palette that they have. Might come on Saturday, they said that they'll let us know. But if it isn't,going to cancel the order.

Thursday at 4pm had a call from them saying that the TV had been put somewhere else and that they'll find it and call back. Didn't get a phone call, hubby phoned them back about 8 pm. They told him that they found it and make a arrangement to send it on Saturday. Hubby told them that wasn't good enough and cancelled the order.

Went to somebody else, got a better deal and have it next Saturday with no extra charge for the weekend delivery.

Haven't done much apart from gardening, all week, as we've been sorting things out since Open Day. Have now got things sorted well and shall be taking it easy this week. Off for a drive soon and some sight seeing.

@Logan I admire your skill. There are many times that I have difficulties choosing an appropriate car for events.

Do you compose them and store them or create them as the occasions occur?

Not a lot to do in the garden today, so taught myself to play this "with the help of the neighbourhood kids singing backing vocals again."

Thanks, no it's Keith's business, i just help him and get paid for it. He prints them out on his computer and i cut them out. I've only started doing the rest of it. I'd like to do it but it really needs the outlet and i haven't really got the time, but i do enjoy doing it.:)

I've been watching a lot of Creat and Craft channel. You can get it over in the states and Canada. Have you watched it?

                  Thanks for the kind words.

The tune is "All the Things You Are." Written in 1939, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II and music by Jerome Kern. It was written for the musical "Very Warm for May," of which most people will be unaware as it folded after 59 performances. But has become a "jazz standard," recorded by countless singers and played by many jazz musicians.
                  Here sung by Frank Sinatra.

                  Here played by Charlie Parker.

You might not have recognised it but YouTube is very sophisticated, it recognised the tune despite me not putting a title to it. They sent me an e-mail telling me it was subject to copyright, but they would allow it to stay on YouTube.

Couldn't play your video, so went on Utube. Frank Sinatra did it well.
Could you learn how to play a carpenter one please. With those kids singing in the background.:)

I've just looked through my "back catalogue," on "Box." Most are on my old less sophisticated piano.
Here's a Shelly Fabares song Karen Carpenter recorded.

No "neighbourhood kids" facility on that one. Just a girl going "ahh!" in the background, when I change the settings when I play the second chorus.

                    I love that tune.

I recorded this four years ago.

                    Box

Here's "All the Things You Are Again."

                    This is the "Box" link.

But I've also edited the YouTube video link, in my original post.

That's great, I've got that one of Karen carpenter.

                      The Box link works, thanks.
