    Aloha everyone,

Today we're off to help at a charity event just a few doors away. It's for a home for destitute children in India. Our neighbour is chairman of the 120 year old charity that is run by their church. An excellent place for them (we've seen it :blue thumb:).

I'm not sure what the weather is going to do but it looks as though the sun is coming out.

We need the rain as well but my new garden sprinkler arrived yesterday and I have tested it on the veg plot. It covers the whole plot in one go :hapydancsmil:. So much more efficient and time saving.

Keep well and have a great day

    Aloha!

Good morning all. Got to take my car in for its MOT this morning fingers crossed I am as fortunate as WOO. I have only done 288 miles since the last test so lets hope there is nothing wrong with her.
Have a good day all, stay warm and dry and most of all safe and well, God bless.:wub2:

          Good day everyone
We are starting with another cloud covered sky but the guessers have told us that later, the clouds will disappear and we shall experience a bit of warmth. Perhaps even getting to tempuratures above 70f..

I will be going to a polling station to vote this morning. It is a provincial election and I am really dreading the possibility of one of the parties getting power. There is a close race between two parties and according to the polls, it is just 1% difference between who is the favourite. :yikes:

I hope everyone has a fine day and please play safe!

Hello everyone, well I was stuck at the garage for 2 and a half hours and then the thing failed on corrosion. Going into the garage again on Monday and it will cost £400 to get it all done! But where can you buy a car for that money that isn't a heap of junk and she certainly passed her mechanical etc with flying colours. So hopefully she will be ready either on Monday or Tuesday before I go into the hospital on Wednesday! Fingers crossed it will be all done and dusted by then.

Hello @moyra sorry to hear about your car ...my hubby is with a Rover75 club and the motor's are luxury in some leather seats etc and some nice salons and estates go for just a bit higher than £400 and our MG ZT 190 is a classic motor now :)

Thanks Gail, I love MG's. had 2 Roadsters and a midget in my time but this little Ford Fiesta Zetec was previously owned by my late Cousin who died of Leukaemia so it has sentimental feelings for me. She has not cost me much over the years so I do not begrudge her the money. I only did 288 miles in her last year which is half the problem I do not use her enough.

Well I don't blame you keeping the motor if there's been no hardship otherwise regarding parts...my hubby is always under ours and he seals them with a rubber lining which you spray on, as it stops the rusting...if weird when we get out the landy into the MG as you can feel the sport more then..they're good motor's and no end have the Rover75's :)

My MG's were undercoated with some rubberoid paint. It did protect them.

It's good stuff moyra but you can't add it to certain parts under the car because of MOT's plus also knowing if ball joints etc are going :)

                                Aloha everyone,

Our neighbour's (down the road) charity open garden and coffee morning yesterday went well. They were open for just over two hours with no entry fee, free tea and cakes but just had donation boxes everywhere and collected £1,000. Their garden is a lot bigger than ours (I would guess it's a couple of acres).

Very sunny this morning and warming up. Lots of mowing to do and more beans to plant but a funeral to go to first (over a dozen so far this year ).

Keep well and have a great day

                                Aloha!
