          Patio climbing rose "Warm Welcome"

          2018-06-03 18.43.27.jpg

"Wandering Minstrel", chosen more for the name than the flower - it's planted over my cat, who was both very adventurous and in possession of a rather poor sense of direction (I once had to retrieve her from an Asda 3 miles from where we lived) - so the colour and size of the bloom has been a pleasent surprise.

Not the most attractive thing in the garden, but an exciting one; having looked a bit sad all spring the lemon tree has suddenly burst into bud with avengance - the whole thing is covered in clusters like this.

One to three months for Albizia seeds?! I found that they germinated quickly too. And they should as they're a member of the pea family.

Wild flower meadow - sort of :heehee: :loll:. I have left the grass to grow here for a couple of years, just strimmed it back in autumn. There are Red Campion, White Campion, Poppies, Buttercups, Rapeseed, Pink Valerian flowering at the moment,,plus lots of weeds and the ubiquitous Nettles. In the Spring there are Dandelions and Daisies. I didn't plant any of them, all done by nature.
