Lucius it looks a lovely place...no wonder you have lovely walks down there and it's so peaceful looking also :love30:...JAMMY :snorky:
This is the same size as the two I have in by the decking when I brought them, so it's at a nice size for the ground if you want to do that :)
Is this one on the tilt mate :what: it's a shame it been surrounded as you mentioned because it's stopped extra growth from spreading from the bottom but should still mature given time  mate for adding them for me

The Pieris in the front garden was planted in full sun and exposed to the winds, so it gets baked and battered. I think the wind has caused the tilt - the Buddleia has been pushed almost horizontal. The Pieris has also been scorched by the winter/ spring storms. I'm debating what to do with it. I'm inclined to maybe give it a serious chop. Could try to move it to a better position.

The Pieris in the pot is half sun/shade and more sheltered so doing well. Don't know where I'm going to put that yet. They can grow quite large, so have to think about root spread.

Pics of my front garden - we're due 50mph winds and rain tomorrow so it will probably get ruined!

Lucius i'd cut it back and replant it straight as it should grow back with new shoots but it will need to be watered every couple of days with this weather and I've noticed with Pieris if they're exposed to sun all day they delight in it more...my neighbour as a large one in her front garden and it's exposed all day to sun when it's hot and it flourishes lovely like mine.

Yes they need room what your on about so they take full bloom...mine are going red again already with this hot weather :)
