North Korea - what happens next?

I don't know enough about it Pete to have an opinion on it,

Trump did promise in his election campaign he would take the US out of the Iran deal so i cant fault him for backing up his promise.

 

Must admit I dont know much myself about the Iran deal, but just wondering, as it has been said it is not tough enough.

 

I think one things for certain Pete in/out of the deal if they start being a threat the US will be the first to sort it out while Trumps in charge, this Podcast is worth a listen.

Nope, he shook hands with Hitler and look where that led! Besides, there was the wee issue of North Korea not existing at the time.

Anyway, I don't see what he has got except for "a commitment to denuclearize the Korean peninsular". That is not an agreement although it is a potential starting point. I suppose that they did get a photo op which, at least in Trumps case, was worth the effort. And no agreement or mention about human rights.

I'm sorry to say this but Trump will market it as he will and large chunks of the American population will buy it whilst the rest of the world rather suspects that the Trump ego is allowing Lil' Kim to play him along just as he wishes.

 

Something done. better than anyone else has done, which is like nothing. its a process. Haste makes waste.

 

He has a certain negotiating style that is unique. Lets again face it, NO ONE ELSE HAS STEPPED UP.

But whatever, if Kim renages on the deal and continues to build nuclear weapons he is not going to be able to hide the fact, not in this day and age.
He would be very stupid if he does.
