Cactus update

Zigs no need to be insulting mate

 

Always flowers well but not sure if this is classed as a Cactus

 

zilly I haven't got a clue mate but either @Zigs or one of the catus collectors will tell you

 

If it looks like a cactus, prickles like a cactus, then....

 

You got a couple of these Zigs.
If pollinated, it forms small round edible fruits that smell strongly of ripe melon when ripe.

Think the yellow one is different to your Owcho, took seven off sets off it last week.

 

Well that sounds well I must say ...if you know your Cactus then you could ID zilly's

 

@pete can you ID this for @zilly mate...as @Zigs only knowns a Cactus by this description.. If it looks like a cactus, prickles like a cactus, then....

Well, cactus are not easy to ID for definite, but my guess would be something similar to Epiphyllum, it looks a very nice plant.
Personally I'd say it is not a desert cacti, more the kind that climb and tend to sprawl over other plants in semi tropical/ tropical areas.

 

I mean just look at the boardem Selleri suffers from

Pete it's this one as I was looking to see if it matched the back of the flower head also
