World cup 2018

Just think very often football needs something to open the game up, with cricket yopu get the one day matches etc. these days, they are trying to make the game exciting and intersting.
But football is still stuck in the dark ages.
Play 90 minutes and its nil nil, should never be,.... then extra time,...... them penalties.

Oh god, just lets have the penalties, cut out all the boring bits

 

I find most things in life are better than cricket , including a tooth extraction without anaesthetic

 

Tour de France starts next month i would sooner watch that than football, Russia winning 1/0

 

We will have to have a game one night Harry we can do it online , if any other members are interested we could get a pairs game going, we would need to make arrangements between us for a time and day,

Not really interested in road racing, but I do like to watch the track cycling.

 

We do like track as well DH, Wimbledon starts soon i don't mind that.

 

I'm off to bed now but as a tennis fan I've got 3 tournaments to watch.

"Animal lovers" are in for a treat on Sunday as the BBC are providing fifty minutes of "rabbit," before the game and for those who like dramas with forensic content, a forty-five minute "postmortem," follows the game.
And some say there's too much football on TV. I say there's too much talk.
There'll be, including half-time, 20 minutes more of talk than there will be of actual play.

Actually even more, as there'll be continuous "rabbit" from not one but two commentaors throughout the game.
I turn on the TV when it's kick-off time, make a cup of tea at half time and turn off immediately after the final whistle. I also mute the commentary at times when that gets too much.

What a half of football against a bunch of animals.
It’s great to see us scoring goals even against poor sides which we don’t often do.

I like to hear others opinions,people who have been there and know more than I do.

Yeah not the England we have come to know, they were up against a poor team, but how many times have they limped away from such games?
